The brief
The front of the property no longer matched the house. The client wanted an entrance that felt calm and deliberate, with a walkway wide enough for two people and lighting that worked after dark.
The approach
We reworked the grade away from the foundation, rebuilt the base for the walkway and steps, and set large-format pavers on a tight, consistent joint. Lighting and planting positions were laid out before any stone was placed.
The result
A clean, level approach from the street to the front door, with lit steps, defined beds and a surface detailed to sit flat through freeze and thaw.
